The Welcome was initially set up by Knutsford Methodist Church as a mobile coffee shop to connect with the residents of Longridge and Shaw Heath in Knutsford. Since then we have gone from strength to strength, we became a registered charity in 2011 and now operate a community cafe and support hub from premises in the heart of our community.
Our aim is to provide people with a facility to learn, share, eat and grow through a range of activities, groups and services and build a strong and vibrant neighbourhood. The needs and hopes of our community are at the heart of everything we do and we are supported by an amazing team of volunteers from across Knutsford.
